Swiss Programme for International Research by Scientific Investigation Teams (SPIRIT)

The new SPIRIT programme launched by SNF facilitates knowledge exchange between Swiss researchers and researchers in selected countries that are receiving development assistance. Submission of pre-proposals: all year round

Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS) call for projects 2020

The Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS) offers project grants for pluri-disciplinary research teams. The project grants run for two years and range from 100’000 to 300’000 Swiss Francs. Submission deadline is January 15th 2020.

Call: Bridging Grants with South Asia and Iran

Bridging grants offer the possibility to continue joint research in order to prepare a grant application for a full joint research project; they may also enable the intensification of joint teaching or curriculum development; deadline for applications: 15 January 2020

Call: Bridging Grants with China, Japan, South Korea and ASEAN region

Bridging grants can fund the preparation of a joint project proposal for submission to large funding agencies or to develop established and long-term partnerships between two institutions or chairs. Deadline for submissions: 12 January 2020

Postdoc.Mobility fellowships

These SNSF fellowships are aimed at researchers who have done a doctorate and who wish to pursue an academic career in Switzerland; deadline for applications: 1 February 2020
