Call for E4D Doctoral Scholarships
The goal of the Engineering for Development (E4D) programme of ETH Zürich is to promote the development of products or methods which are directly relevant for improving the livelihoods of poor people in developing countries. Improved harvest for small farms thanks to naturally cloned crops
A nearly 80-year-old idea of natural cloning via seeds may boost the harvest of farmers in the future. Researchers from the University of Zurich have now demonstrated that this idea actually works.
