Qualifications: Advanced university degree in political science, agricultural economics, development economics, rural sociology, food security, or related field. At least 7 years of experience in policy analysis and advisory work related to food security, agriculture, and rural development. Strong experience in policy processes, governance, and working with international or intergovernmental bodies. Ability to support multidisciplinary teams and regional policy dialogue. Fluency in English required; knowledge of another FAO language (e.g. Arabic or French) is an asset.

International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)
Qualifications: Advanced university degree in agronomy, livestock, fisheries, aquaculture, veterinary science, or a related field. At least 5 years of professional experience in agricultural and rural development programmes, including technical advisory roles in crops and animal production. Experience in project design, policy support, and implementation of development programmes required. Strong knowledge of food systems, climate-resilient agriculture, and nutrition-sensitive approaches is an asset. Experience in international or multicultural environments required. Fluency in English required; knowledge of French or Arabic is an asset.

Qualifications: Degree in agriculture or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Strong expertise in climate-smart agriculture, agricultural training, and curriculum development. Experience with vocational education (TVET), extension services, and collaboration with farmers and agribusiness actors. Skills in project management, communication, and intercultural work required. Fluency in English required; experience in aquaculture is an asset.

IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH
Qualifications: University degree with at least 10 years of professional experience, including leadership roles in international projects. Strong expertise in agricultural development, value chains, marketing, and export promotion. Experience in South Asia (minimum 2 years) required. Knowledge of digital agriculture, AI applications, and international agricultural trade is an asset. Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with government and private sector actors. Fluency in English and German required; Hindi is an asset.

International Rice Research Institute (IRRI)
Qualifications: PhD in agronomy, agricultural economics, environmental economics, development studies, geography, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in climate change research in agriculture, preferably in developing country contexts. Strong expertise in climate-smart agriculture, GHG emissions accounting, and mitigation/adaptation strategies. Experience with quantitative analysis, value chains, and policy-oriented research. Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international environments, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in Southeast Asia is desirable; Vietnamese is an asset.

International Rice Research Institute (IRRI)
Qualifications: PhD in agriculture, environmental sciences, geography, or a related field. Strong research background in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agriculture, preferably in rice systems. Experience with Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems, including GIS and remote sensing applications. Knowledge of low-emission rice practices and field data collection. Proven ability to conduct independent and collaborative research, publish scientific outputs, and engage with governmental and international stakeholders. Experience in capacity building is an asset.
