IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH
Qualifications: University degree with at least 10 years of professional experience, including leadership roles in international projects. Strong expertise in agricultural development, value chains, marketing, and export promotion. Experience in South Asia (minimum 2 years) required. Knowledge of digital agriculture, AI applications, and international agricultural trade is an asset. Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with government and private sector actors. Fluency in English and German required; Hindi is an asset.

International Rice Research Institute (IRRI)
Qualifications: PhD in agronomy, agricultural economics, environmental economics, development studies, geography, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in climate change research in agriculture, preferably in developing country contexts. Strong expertise in climate-smart agriculture, GHG emissions accounting, and mitigation/adaptation strategies. Experience with quantitative analysis, value chains, and policy-oriented research. Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international environments, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in Southeast Asia is desirable; Vietnamese is an asset.

International Rice Research Institute (IRRI)
Qualifications: PhD in agriculture, environmental sciences, geography, or a related field. Strong research background in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agriculture, preferably in rice systems. Experience with Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems, including GIS and remote sensing applications. Knowledge of low-emission rice practices and field data collection. Proven ability to conduct independent and collaborative research, publish scientific outputs, and engage with governmental and international stakeholders. Experience in capacity building is an asset.

World Food Programme (WFP)

Qualifications: Master’s degree in international affairs, economics, agriculture, environmental science, social sciences or a related field, combined with around 3 years of professional experience in programme implementation, operational coordination or humanitarian operations. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and data management skills, experience in monitoring and evaluation, and familiarity with contingency planning and field-based activities. Exposure to international organizations or humanitarian contexts is an asset. Fluency in English and another UN language is required. Eligibility for the Swiss JPO programme (Swiss nationality, under 32, interest in a UN career) is mandatory.

International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe)

Qualifications: PhD in entomology, agricultural science, horticulture, agricultural extension or a related field, with at least 6 years of postdoctoral experience and a minimum of 3 years in a mid- to senior-level role within a multidisciplinary research environment. Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record in agroecological research and innovation, including experience in managing large donor-funded projects. Technical expertise in areas such as horticulture, agroecology or One Health is required, along with experience working in Southern Africa and within international research organizations. Excellent English communication skills are essential.

CIRAD

Qualifications:  Master’s degree (M2) or engineering degree in agronomy or plant production, with solid knowledge of crop management and field experimentation. Interest in citrus production and ability to apply and transfer technical practices in an international cooperation context are expected. Candidates should demonstrate strong adaptability to fieldwork in tropical environments, good teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to prepare training materials and technical reports. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is an asset.

International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)

Qualifications: Advanced university degree in rural development, agriculture, rural finance, development policy, economics or a related field, combined with at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in these domains. The role requires strong expertise in programme design and management, including loans and grants, as well as experience in international organizations or development finance institutions. Candidates should demonstrate solid capacities in policy dialogue, stakeholder coordination across public, private and civil society actors, and evidence-based strategy development. Proven leadership and team management skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities. Fluency in English and French is required; additional languages such as Spanish or Arabic are an asset.
