Qualifications: PhD in Entomology, Zoology, Agriculture, or related field; at least one year of postgraduate training; experience in integrated pest management and insect symbiosis; skills in microbiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology; minimum three peer-reviewed publications; capacity for research supervision and team coordination; strong communication and leadership abilities; fluent English, basic French an asset. Position based at icipe, Nairobi, within the Agriculture & Climate Change Thematic Research Programme; two-year renewable contract.

Qualifications: Excellent Master’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Behavioral Science, Public Policy, or Environmental/Food and Agricultural Economics; strong analytical skills and proficiency in R or Python; experience in survey or experimental design is an advantage; motivation to work in an inter- and transdisciplinary environment; fluent in German and English; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
