The Research Partnership Grant (RPG) supports Swiss-based researchers in launching joint projects with partners from nine South Asian countries. By promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across institutions and borders, the RPG enables teams to test innovative ideas, gather preliminary data, and lay the groundwork for long-term cooperation.

Qualifications: PhD or Master’s degree (with at least three years of experience) in management sciences, innovation, economics, sociology, or digital anthropology; experience in qualitative research and user diagnostics; strong analytical and writing skills; fluency in French and English; strong interest in digital agriculture and AI-related organizational innovation.

Max Havelaar-Stiftung

Qualifications: Hochschulabschluss in Umwelt-, Agrar-, Sozial- oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften; erste Erfahrung in internationaler Zusammenarbeit oder Projekten globaler Lieferketten; analytisches Denken und Organisationstalent; sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, Spanisch von Vorteil; gute Kenntnisse in MS Office 365.

IRRI

Qualifications: PhD in data science, agricultural or environmental sciences, hydrology, remote sensing, or related field; strong proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and programming (Python, R, SQL); solid understanding of agricultural or irrigation systems; excellent analytical and communication skills; experience in large-scale data systems; ability to work in multicultural teams. Familiarity with hydrological modeling is an advantage.

Qualifications: PhD in plant breeding, quantitative genetics, crop science, or related field; at least 15 years of post-PhD experience leading international crop breeding programs; proven scientific record (≥100 publications, H-index ≥25); experience delivering farmer-preferred varieties and managing multi-million-dollar research portfolios; strong leadership, partnership, and fundraising skills; fluency in English required, Arabic or French an asset.
