From 26–28 August 2026, the Swiss and German African Studies associations will hold a joint conference in Basel. Hosted by the University of Basel's ZASB, it brings together scholars from Africa, Europe and beyond to explore “African Perspectives on Global Transformations” — addressing decolonization, justice, and planetary health across disciplines.
