International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)
Qualifications: Advanced university degree in rural development, agriculture, rural finance, development policy, economics or a related field, combined with at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in these domains. The role requires strong expertise in programme design and management, including loans and grants, as well as experience in international organizations or development finance institutions. Candidates should demonstrate solid capacities in policy dialogue, stakeholder coordination across public, private and civil society actors, and evidence-based strategy development. Proven leadership and team management skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities. Fluency in English and French is required; additional languages such as Spanish or Arabic are an asset.
