GLF Africa 2026 is a hybrid international conference held during the UN International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, bringing Africa’s pastoralist regions to the center of global climate, food and land-use debates. The event convenes policymakers, researchers, pastoralist leaders, Indigenous representatives, youth, investors and practitioners to address rangeland governance, pastoralist-led stewardship economies and innovation for resilient rangelands, with a strong focus on climate change, livelihoods and sustainable development across Africa.
