Qualifications: Advanced university degree in agricultural economics, development economics, gender studies, development studies, rural sociology, public policy with an agriculture or gender focus, or statistics/applied economics. At least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing assessments, survey design, and analysis. Strong expertise in women’s empowerment in agriculture, gender-responsive research, and ideally direct experience with WEAI, A-WEAI, or pro-WEAI methodologies. Experience with mixed methods, rural sampling strategies, technical supervision of research processes, and policy-oriented gender analysis is required. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Romanian, Russian, or another UN language is an asset.
