Qualifications: Advanced university degree in Soil Science, Agronomy or related discipline (PhD preferred). At least 10 years of research & development experience in soil–plant–water interactions, including work with nuclear/isotopic techniques for soil, water and crop nutrient management. Proven leadership and management experience (human and financial resources), project planning/budgeting, policy development for climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture, and strong communication skills in English (other IAEA languages an asset). Technical credibility in applying nuclear and related techniques, ability to design soil/water/nutrient management programmes, and capacity to mobilize extra-budgetary funding.
