Bereits seit 2007 vergleicht das FiBL zusammen mit lokalen Partnern konventionellen und biologischen Landbau in Kenia, Indien und Bolivien im Programm SysCom (Farming Systems Comparison in the Tropics). Zu den Erkenntnissen aus den Langzeitversuchen sind in der Zeitschrift BioTOPP in den letzten Monaten zwei Artikel erschienen.
